Q:
I am going out of town for two weeks. Is DOGGIE DOMAIN able to watch my dog for that length of time?
A:Absolutely! We have had dog guests for 10 weeks at a time. In fact, we give free nights for pre-paid extended stays.

Q:
My two dogs are used to sleeping together at home. Can they board together?
A: Sure, we have sleeping rooms that are large enough to comfortably fit three dogs (depending on their size, of course). Also, we have shared-room discounts for dogs that stay in the same sleeping room. Please note: If you have requested that the two dogs sleep in the same room, you accept full responsibility for anything that happens between the two dogs. If we sense there is a potential issue, we reserve the right to place the two dogs in separate rooms at the owner expense. Safety is always our primary concern.

Q:
Do dogs who are boarding over holidays get play time even though you may not be open for daycare clients?
A: Yes, dogs boarding with us will get their daily five hours of playtime with the other boarding guests, no matter what day it is.

Q:
What do I need to bring for my dog when he comes to board?
A:
Food:  We do ask that you provide your dog’s own food from home. This is to maintain consistency in your dog’s diet so as not to cause any digestive issues.

Bedding:  If you think your dog would be more comfortable with his own bedding, you are welcome to bring it if it fits in his sleeping room. If you would prefer, we are happy to provide a blanket or raised bed for your dog.

Toys:  We have plenty of community toys for the dogs in the playrooms but if you can bring a favorite toy and/or bone for you dog in his sleeping room. We do not allow rawhides, pig ears or greenies.NOTE: We have a 3 item limit and are not responsible for these items if anything happens to them during your dog’s stay.

*Space permitting, each dog is allowed to bring 3-5 items total. Please note: we are not responsible for these items.

Q:
How much does it cost to board my dog? Do you charge additional fees for things like playtime & bathroom breaks?
A: Our rates are ALL-INCLUSIVE so you don’t have to pay extra for your dog to have regular bathroom walks, or even for him/her to play for hours (not just minutes like many other facilities)! At DOGGIE DOMAIN, the boarding rates are determined by the size of your dog and the size room you would like your dog to stay in.

Q:
If I am a comparison shopper, are you the place for me?
A: The answer is yes and no. If you are looking for the best overall price for outstanding service and care for your dog, the answer is definitely YES we are the perfect place for you. If you compare dollar for dollar what we consider to be standard for all of our boarders, given our ALL-INCLUSIVE (make clickable) approach, we are an unbelievable bargain.

If you are purely shopping price for the least expensive kennel, where your dog will stay in a small cage and have virtually no interaction of any kind, then the answer is definitely NO we are not the place for you.

Q:
Do you require a deposit for my dog’s stay?
A: For first-time boarders, we do require a $50 deposit. If you must cancel your reservation, there will be a $25 fee. If the cancellation is made less than 2 full DOGGIE DOMAIN business days before the expected date of arrival the entire deposit will be forfeited. The deposit will be required at the time of reservation.

For holiday and peak periods, a $100 deposit is required for any reservation. There will always be a $25 cancellation fee and the deposit will be completely forfeited for any cancellations made less than 10 full DOGGIE DOMAIN business days of the expected date of arrival. Again, the deposit will be required at the time of reservation.

Please note: We will not make any reservations or hold any rooms until:

1. We have received written verification of the required health & vaccination information (M: make clickable to our requirements)
2. We have conducted the “meet & greet” interview with your dog(s) &
3. Have received your full deposit.

Q:
Are there any times that you require a minimum stay?
A: Yes, and those times are listed on the Check-In/Out page.

Q: I need to board my dog, but he does not get along with other dogs and does not like people. Should we use your facility?
A:No, all of the dogs that stay with us get 5 hours of supervised play with other dogs each day. For this reason, we can only accept dogs that interact well with other dogs. Also, if your dog has ever attacked a person or shown strong aggressive tendencies we will not accept him as a guest. Safety is our number one concern. NO EXCEPTIONS.
